GEMS Jumeirah Primary School runs a successful After School Care Program for children from Foundation Stage 2 through to Year 6.
This programme provides a safe nurturing environment for the hour after school has finished, for the convenience of parents who need their child(ren) taken care of for this extra time after school. During the sessions, the children are provided with a wide range of fun activities to keep them occupied and parents can rest assured that they will do this in a secure, safe environment.
The children play board games, make puzzles, paint and colour pictures. Twice a week KS2 children visit ICT rooms where they can play various computer games.
The After School Care programme runs during term time from 2.30 - 3.30pm on Sunday to Wednesdays and from 1.30 – 2.30pm on Thursdays.
Parents are requested to collect their children promptly at the end of the sessions, as no further supervision is provided following the end of the scheduled programme.
Payments for this programme, of 25 AED per hour, are made termly in advance. Please note that JPS supports a no refund policy for missed sessions, due to scheduling and staffing.
