Year 5 stepped into the past last Thursday and travelled back 500 years…. to TUDOR ENGLAND…! Year 5’s Tudor Day was a resounding success enjoyed by all children as they were able to dress up and live the life of a person in the 16th Century. The royal banquet was the highlight of the day for many of the children as they were able to dine with her royal highness, Queen Plymen. I wonder if anyone recognizes who the queen really is…
Enjoying herself immensely, the queen was charmed by many suitors at the banquet. The audience was treated to her majesty playing ‘Greensleaves’ on the piano, accompanied by Lord Campion, from the county of Year Threeshire, on guitar. After the talented duo had finished, the children performed Tudor dances to the banquet hall.
